This site is dedicated to the preservation and operation of this magnificent vessel that has served proudly for over 50 years in the Northeastern towing industry. She now rests in the hands of the historic vessel community, which has been happily charged to do all that is necessary to ensure her continuing survival. Cornell serves as window to the past to illustrate the growth and evolution of the maritime industry in NY Harbor. The Tug is now under private ownership and is operated by the Lehigh Maritime Corp.
Please take the time to look through all the experiences this beautiful tug has to offer. We offer NY Harbor and Hudson River Tours along with educational programs for public and private entities. We also participate in many of the major maritime events that take place in the Northeast. In addition, on board the tug we embrace a great volunteer program. It is our pleasure to share this great experience with all of you, enjoy!
